Charles Leclerc delivered an emphatic performance at the 2022 Australian Grand Prix, as the Ferrari racer came home to clinch his second win of the season to extend his lead at the top of the championship.
Leclerc led from start to finish, beating his nearest competitor – Red Bull’s Sergio Perez – by 20.524s. George Russell finished in third to claim his first podium as a Mercedes driver, just ahead of team mate Lewis Hamilton in fourth.
Home favourite Daniel Ricciardo finished in sixth just behind team mate Lando Norris in fifth, while Alex Albon claimed Williams’ first points of the season as he came home in P10.
