‘Best looking car of the last 5 years!’ – F1 fans react to new AlphaTauri livery

Launch season is always an exciting time for Formula 1 fans – it’s the first chance to see the new machinery the teams will be racing in 2020, and the livery designs that will adorn the cars.

For many teams though, once they set on their corporate or sponsor colours, their liveries can often end up being fairly similar from one year to the next.

But this year, one team in particular has undergone a big change, not only with their livery, but also their name. On Friday, Toro Rosso became AlphaTauri – and with their new moniker came a stunning new look.

And it’s fair to say the refreshed livery went down a storm with the fans…

It certainly got the seal of approval from Marj:

While Soumil went as far as to say he thought it was the best F1 livery for half a decade...
