DRIVER OF THE DAY: Piastri gets your vote for superb Suzuka podium
After the disappointments of Australia and China, Oscar Piastri was back in business in Japan.

His first Grand Prix start of the season and Oscar Piastri totally nailed it, launching his McLaren from its P3 grid slot into the lead at Turn 1. He maintained the advantage throughout his first stint, only to see eventual winner Kimi Antonelli benefit from pitting under the Safety Car a couple of laps later. No one, however, could stop the Australian taking a superb P2 for his and McLaren's first podium of 2026. Here’s how the voting broke down…
Oscar Piastri - 27.36%
Kimi Antonelli - 18.94%
Charles Leclerc - 12.65%
Lewis Hamilton - 7.04%
Max Verstappen - 6.84%
