F2: Stenshorne takes first Formula 2 victory in Rodin Motorsport 1-2
Martinius Stenshorne triumphed in a dramatic Montreal Feature Race, earning his first F2 win in the process.

Martinius Stenshorne kept his cool in a dramatic Montreal Feature Race to earn his maiden victory in FIA Formula 2.
The Norwegian driver started from third on the grid but his job was far from straightforward, with damp conditions leading to mistakes from several drivers in the early stages.
Polesitter Laurens van Hoepen crashed out of the lead as he hit the Wall of Champions to bring out one of several Safety Cars.
Stenshorne was able to keep himself out of trouble where rivals suffered from contact or errors, with the likes of Nikola Tsolov and Rafael Câmara also involved in separate incidents that impacted their races.
Managing one final restart and with Rodin teammate Alexander Dunne in tow, Stenshorne led the pack home for his first win in the Championship.
Dunne continued his streak of a podium finish at each round so far, with the Irish driver starting from sixth on the grid and coming through to P2 by the chequered flag.
Championship leader Gabriele Minì also kept alive a streak as the only driver to score points in every race in 2026. The Italian secured P3 in Sunday’s Feature Race and leads the standings heading to Monte Carlo next month.
Elsewhere, Tsolov recovered from contact and a spin to fight back through to fourth, while Sebastián Montoya went from 18th to fifth for PREMA Racing.
