
From Hawthorn to Hamilton – the exclusive club of British Ferrari winners

There was a very British flavour to the podium in Catalunya on June 14th, as Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Lando Norris became the first three Britons to stand atop one since Jackie Stewart had led Graham Hill and John Surtees home in the 1968 US Grand Prix at Watkins Glen.
That’s quite an extraordinary statistic, given the success of British racing drivers in F1 in the intervening years.
