Haas were back in action at Japan’s Fuji Speedway this week as the team staged another event for their fans – while giving Toyota-backed drivers Sho Tsuboi and Nirei Fukuzumi time in F1 machinery.
Haas, who have a growing relationship with Japanese automotive giants Toyota, were in action at the former F1 venue on Tuesday and Wednesday.
It follows on from the squad’s successful Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) running at the Toyota-owned track last year, with gates open to fans to watch from the grandstands.
At the wheel were four-time Super GT GT500 Champion and 2024 Super Formula Champion Tsuboi, making his second test outing for Haas, while 2019 Super GT GT300 champion and current Super Formula racer Fukuzumi enjoyed his very first run in an F1 car.
