HIGHLIGHTS: Watch all the action from a thrilling qualifying session for the Eifel GP
The drivers' preparations for the Eifel Grand Prix were cut short this weekend when bad weather meant both Friday practice sessions were abandoned. They had just one hour of running on Saturday morning to get up to speed before qualifying – which featured a thrilling three-way fight for pole.
Valtteri Bottas, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen traded top spot on the time sheets throughout the session as Red Bull looked to have closed the gap to Mercedes, before Bottas eventually took pole with a superb final lap.
