HIGHLIGHTS: Watch highlights from FP2 in Japan as Piastri heads Mercedes duo
McLaren's Oscar Piastri just headed both Mercedes drivers after Friday's running.
Oscar Piastri topped the times in Free Practice 2 for the Japanese Grand Prix, beating Mercedes drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell.
The Australian posted a 1m 30.133s using Pirelli's soft tyre, which left him 0.092s clear of Antonelli and a further tenth faster than Russell at the Suzuka Circuit.
Lando Norris was half a second away from his team mate but the reigning World Champion missed the first half of the one-hour session as McLaren investigated a hydraulic leak, with the top six completed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.
