Lando Norris sealed pole for the Spanish Grand Prix with a stunning lap in qualifying, pipping Max Verstappen by just 0.020s.
The McLaren man's brilliant 1m 11.383s lap at the end of Q3 was enough to lift him to the P1 spot with Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton taking third on the grid.

George Russell was P4 – confirming Mercedes' uptick in performance was continuing in Barcelona – while the Ferrari pair of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz took P5 and P6 respectively.
There was a welcome boost for Alpine as both drivers made Q3, while Red Bull's Sergio Perez qualified in P8, though his three-place grid penalty picked up in Canada will see him start 11th in Sunday's race.
