Aston Martin had a big announcement to make on Tuesday morning, with the British outfit confirming the signing of Adrian Newey to bolster their efforts.
Amid interest from teams up and down the F1 grid, outgoing Red Bull man Newey has opted for a move to Silverstone and Lawrence Stroll’s ambitious operation.

He will bring a wealth of experience and pedigree to the team, including 12 constructors’ titles, 13 drivers’ titles and more than 200 Grand Prix wins – spread across stints at Williams, McLaren and, most recently, the aforementioned Red Bull.
