Perez pledges support to Mexican earthquake victims

Sergio Perez has pledged his support to those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck his native Mexico on Tuesday.
The Force India driver has donated an initial 3 million Mexican pesos (approximately £125,000, or $170,000) to victims of Tuesday’s quake, which has killed more than 200 people and caused widespread damage in Mexico City and the surrounding area.
Perez has also formed an alliance with the foundation of Mexican businessman Carlos Slim, which will see donations to the Force India driver's personal foundation matched five fold.
"I'm deeply concerned about what my country is living," said Perez, 27. "It's time to be united."
