Formula 1 was back in action this weekend with the season-opening Austrian Grand Prix – and the drivers laid on an absolutely spectacular return to racing for us at the Red Bull Ring.
With Valtteri Bottas starting on pole and Lewis Hamilton having qualified second, only to be demoted to P5 after Red Bull appealed a decision not to punish him for ignoring yellow flags during qualifying, Max Verstappen was promoted on to the front-row, with McLaren's Lando Norris in a career-high third.
The stage was set and what followed was an absolutely scintillating 71 laps as Bottas had to fend off a resurgent Hamilton for victory while McLaren, Racing Point, Red Bull and Ferrari all fought for a shot at the podium.
Cue drama aplenty as nine drivers retired – causing three Safety Cars – plus there was a debut podium for one driver and a surprise top three finish for Ferrari, as well as spins and scuffles right up and down the field.
Watch all the best bits from an absolutely gripping race in the highlights video above.
