How The Legends League works
The Legends League gives you the chance to go up against Formula 1 icons with a fresh start. The league begins for everyone at the Dutch Grand Prix and runs for the entire second half the season.
Everyone starts equal
Missed the opening races? No problem. The Legends League is a new competition, meaning new players can jump straight into the action by entering a new team while existing players get another shot with one of their existing teams.
Both new F1 Fantasy players and existing players can join the Legends League in the 'League' navigation tab and start equal.

The F1 legends' top picks
Can your F1 Fantasy teams beat the selections by World Champions Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve?
Take a look at their picks, Hill's above and Villeneuve's below, where both have opted for high scoring drivers over high-scoring teams.

How to play F1 Fantasy?
New to F1 Fantasy? F1 Fantasy is the official, free-to-play fantasy game for Formula 1. With millions signing up from across the globe, it levels up the fun of F1. Suddenly, you’re not just following one driver or team, you’ve got investment across the grid and more reasons to care about every twist, turn and late-session lap.
Here’s how it works:
- You get a $100m cost cap to pick five drivers and two constructors.
- In Legends League you can enter one team via the league tab.
- Usually in F1 Fantasy you create up to three teams… Maybe you want one 'serious' team, one for the fun of the chaos, and one experiment, but it's up to you.
- Once a season starts, you’ll have two free transfers per Grand Prix round for each team, so you can react without overthinking every move.
Your drivers and teams score points based on what happens across the real-life race weekend, so the results, positions gained, and key moments all feed directly into your Fantasy total. Make sure to keep a close eye on rest of the season to stay ahead.
Create your own rivalries
Want to take on friends? In F1 Fantasy you can create your own league and challenge friends to join.
