TREMAYNE: It’s already a breakthrough year for Norris – now McLaren need to decide exactly what they want from him


When Lando Norris said after the Hungarian Grand Prix that he had always intended to hand back the lead to team mate Oscar Piastri, I believed him. I still do.
I think he’s a decent and honourable man and, as he demonstrated while fighting against his buddy Max Verstappen in Austria, he drives within his own code of conduct.
