Fresh from the spectacle that was the Dutch Grand Prix, Formula 1 rolls onto one of the most historic circuits around in Monza.
The Italian Grand Prix has seen its fair share of titanic tussles over the years and, ahead of this weekend’s event, we’ve pulled out five brilliant battles from the F1 archive to look back on.

From the 2014 duel between Red Bull team mates Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo, where the ‘apprentice’ showed he was very much up for the fight with the ‘master’, to a 2011 epic between legends Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton, there are some epic displays in the collection.
There’s also a thrilling fight to lead the race in 2018 where the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen, roared on by the home crowd, gave Hamilton in his Mercedes plenty to think about.
