MUST-SEE: Go onboard with Fernando Alonso for a flat-out demo of his title-winning Renault R25 in Abu Dhabi

The 20 current Formula 1 cars weren't the only Grand Prix machinery on track in Abu Dhabi on Friday, as Fernando Alonso took his V10-powered, championship-winning Renault R25 for a demo run around the circuit after first practice.

The stunning blue-and-yellow charger made its presence felt at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as two-time champion Alonso took the wheel – and left next to nothing on the table – for some spectacular demonstration laps.

Alonso, who will race for the team next season, won the first of his two consecutive championships with Renault in this R25, which was brought to Yas Marina Circuit by the Enstone/Viry squad to celebrate their re-branding to Alpine in 2021 – and will be run on Saturday and Sunday too.
