Alex Albon has found his Red Bull a difficult beast to tame in Sochi, and things came to a head in the first segment of qualifying on Saturday as he crashed out at Turn 13, leaving him facing a back of the grid start in Sunday's Grand Prix...
"Nothing really to say other than went in a bit hot," explained the British-born Thai. "When these cars go, they go quite quick. Just frustrating. There’s a tail wind there, and yeah, just caught me out really."
Since joining Red Bull from Toro Rosso in Belgium, Albon has scored two fifth places and a sixth. He's going to need to emulate his Chinese GP charge to score points again on Sunday...
