Max Verstappen denied Lando Norris Sprint pole at the Circuit of The Americas.
Max Verstappen continued his dominance of Sprint Qualifying in the United States by taking his third Sprint pole at the Circuit of The Americas.
Verstappen's 1m 32.143s effort brought the curtain down on a dramatic Sprint Qualifying session, and edged out Lando Norris by 0.71s. Championship leader Oscar Piastri will start from third.
Recent rounds have seen the Dutchman close in on the McLaren pair in the Drivers' Championship, and he will start Saturday's Sprint in the best position to add further pressure to his rivals.
