If you’re not excited yet about the release of F1 2018 (and you really should be), then this latest trailer from the official videogame of the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship should really get your blood pumping...
Featuring stunning in-game footage and the new official F1 theme music, written by composer Brian Tyler, the latest trailer, released by Codemasters, is a prelude to the game’s worldwide release on Friday 24th August.
Commenting on the game’s recreation of the real world sport, F1 2018’s Art Director, Stu Campbell, said: “F1 has undergone a huge visual rebrand this year. It has an exciting, fresh new look and we are looking to bring that into the game as much as we can. Our aim this year was to create as big a visual improvement as we possibly could to give a more authentic and realistic experience. When you see it side by side with the 2017 game I think you will see a huge leap forward.”
F1 2018 features all the teams, drivers and circuits in this year’s championship, including Circuit Paul Ricard and the Hockenheimring.
Fans will also be able to race with 20 iconic cars from the history of the sport when the game is released onto PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X, and Windows PC (DVD and via Steam).
