Monaco marks the beginning of F1’s summer stint in Europe as it hosts the sixth round of the 2026 season this weekend – but what weather conditions can drivers expect at the historic circuit?
While some of the most unforgettable races at the Circuit de Monaco have been shaped by heavy rainfall, this year is largely expected to be clear and dry.
The weekend’s running will also feature pleasant temperatures and light to moderate wind speeds, as well as a small chance of light rain showers – around 20% – that is constant throughout the competitive sessions.

FRIDAY, JUNE 05 – FP1 AND FP2
Conditions: In the wake of a morning cold front, increasingly clear and dry conditions should prevail in Monaco. If the front is a bit slower to arrive Thursday night, then it's possible a stray light rain shower or drizzle/fog occurs at the circuit as late as mid-morning on Friday. Temperatures should be fairly mild, ranging from 17.5°C to 20°C, with track temperatures likely reaching the low 40s (assuming clear to partly cloudy skies by the mid afternoon). Winds will be light, averaging 9 km/h with occasional gusts up to 21.6 km/h.

SATURDAY, JUNE 06 – FP3 AND QUALIFYING
Conditions: Excellent racing conditions expected. Temperatures will range between 17°C and 20°C, with a dry day anticipated – however, a stray afternoon pop-up shower or storm is possible along the coastal mountainous regions. Winds will stay light to moderate, peaking at 14.4 km/h, ensuring stable track conditions. The track temperature is expected to rise to around 38.7°C, though may trend higher into the low 40s if cloud cover is more sparse.

SUNDAY, JUNE 07 – RACE
Conditions: Expected to be pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 17°C to a comfortable 20.5°C. There remains a very low chance of rain, as a stray afternoon pop-up shower or storm could form along the coastal mountain ranges. Winds will likely remain light around 7.9 km/h with gusts up to 21.6 km/h. The track temperature is expected to reach 40.46°C, though could trend into the mid 40s.
