2026 Canadian GP FP1: Russell taps the barrier after late spin
George Russell was pushing hard in the closing minutes of first practice in Montreal when he spun his Mercedes at Turn 1. He managed to scrub off most of the speed and just gently tapped the barriers as he came to a halt.
